Fashion Funds the Cure

The 10th Annual Veredus Fashion Funds the Cure presented by Neiman Marcus, Mercedes-Benz, and Bright House Networks took place on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the Tampa International Jet Center Hangar #4. The 2014 date is to be determined.

Fashion Funds the Cure is an event where hopes and dreams take flight. It is a celebration of incomparable strength and courage as girls battling cancer make their debut on the runway. Guests enjoy fine wines and delicacies from top area restaurants.

We were honored once again to have Carson Kressley of Dancing With the Stars, How to Look Good Naked, and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy as our host. Over the past five years, Carson has provided numerous laughs and unparalleled entertainment to this special event.

On February 10, 2013, in preparation for Fashion Funds the Cure, the featured models and their mothers will experience the ultimate day of pampering full of relaxation and time away from the rigorous treatments and hospital visits. The girls will be picked up and chauffeured to Neiman Marcus. Volunteers from The Junior League of Tampa will greet the girls upon arrival and the fun continues inside with manicures, makeovers, lunch, outfit selections for the fashion show, and a goodie bag. It is an unforgettable day of smiles and laughter for the girls and their mothers.
