Giant Oil and BP Raise $53,418 for the Pediatric Cancer Foundation

Tampa, Fla. – December 21, 2012 – On Thursday, December 20, 2012, Giant Oil and BP Corporation North America presented a check for $53,418 to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation (PCF). This donation is the result of a one month campaign where employees offered customers the opportunity to make a $1 donation to PCF.

This campaign is part of the Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s Sunshine Campaign, which aims to increase awareness about childhood cancer by encouraging corporate partners to donate through a percentage of sales, round-up program, or a general promotion. In just three years, Giant Oil has raised more than $140,000 to support the Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s mission to fund research to eliminate childhood cancer.
